Disclose AI assistance in a post
- The AI-assisted checkbox appears on thread creation, quick and full replies, and inline and full editing.
- Tick it when AI helped write or substantially rewrite a post.
- A text badge appears beside the post's attribution.
- Each post keeps its own disclosure. An opening post does not label replies.
- Authors can change it within their normal post-edit permissions. Draft restoration is supported.
Quote AI output
- Use the AI quote button beside the editor. It wraps selected content or inserts an empty [ai] block.
- Or type [ai]AI output[/ai].
- The block shows the heading AI-generated excerpt.
- A quote does not mark the surrounding post as AI-assisted. Tick the checkbox separately if needed.
- AI tags inside quotes, code and plain-text blocks are not counted as excerpts.
Optional private reminders
- Off by default. An administrator turns on Enable disclosure reminders at Setup → Options → AI Disclosure Label.
- During author previews it checks a small set of English and Vietnamese self-reference phrases and privately suggests the checkbox.
- It never labels a post or blocks submission, and it does not detect AI authorship.
- It runs locally with no external service.
Search for disclosed posts
- On the Search threads form, use the AI assistance and AI excerpt filters, alone or together.
- They combine with keyword, member, forum and date controls.
- Filters are unavailable until the initial index rebuild finishes.
Staff: change labels and view reports
- Changing another member's label needs Manage AI disclosure plus post-edit access. Changes are logged.
- Reports with View AI disclosure reports show counts by forum and post creation date.
- Reports count visible content only and respect forum access.
