How qualified views work
- Real Views adds a separate counter; XenForo's original view counts stay intact.
- By default a visit qualifies after five seconds of visible time.
- By default the same member or browser qualifies once per thread in a rolling 24-hour window.
Open the settings
- Go to D.C Style – Real Views Analytics, then Real Views, then the Settings tab.
Change the visible-time threshold
- Allowed range: 1 to 60 seconds; default 5.
Change the repeat window
- Allowed range: 1 to 30 days; default 1 day.
What is excluded and how outcomes are labelled
- Excluded from eligible traffic: HEAD requests, prefetches, redirects, errors and AJAX fragments.
- Outcomes: qualified views, confirmed repeats, recognized bot user agents, unverified requests.
Choose what members see
- You can collect data privately first, then decide to show original counts, qualified counts, or both.
