Set up the Advanced Download page and options
Learn how to configure Advanced Download so attachments and resources use a new download page. You will know where its options are and what the page does.

What the add-on does
- It creates a new download page for attachments and resources.
- It supports attachments, internal resources and external resources.
- It helps prevent downloads from accidental clicks, which may slow the server.
Open the options
- Go to Options, then Advanced Download.
Review each option
- List each option with its purpose once staff supply them.
- Facts only confirm ad options named DC_AdvancedDownload_adLeft and DC_AdvancedDownload_adRight exist.
Test the download page
- Click a download link for an attachment.
- Check an internal resource and an external resource.
- Confirm the new page appears before the file downloads.
